Don and Terri Triplett were appointed to El Salvador with a simple message: "Jesus saves and is coming soon." What started as a local mission has expanded into a global movement reaching dozens of countries throughout the world.

Today, that vision has expanded to dozens of countries throughout the world. In El Salvador and Nicaragua, the countries to which we are appointed, we are witnesses to a mighty move of God as He pours out His Spirit to anoint this generation who will usher in the return of His son, Jesus Christ.

Working hand-in-hand with the local church, thousands of young men and women are giving their lives for the cause of global evangelism in the various aspects of the ministry. Our history is a testimony, but our future is a mission.

STEVE & KIM SOBEY

DIRECTORS OF MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT

Steve and Kim serve as Directors of Ministry Development and Directors of US Relations for King's Castle Ministries in El Salvador. Steve also continues to oversee the ministry in Nicaragua as Executive Director for King’s Castle Nicaragua.

In 2016, Steve was elected to serve as President for the International Association of King’s Castle Ministries. He was recently reelected to continue serving in that capacity. King's Castle Ministries is now established in 35 countries and continues to grow. We are believing for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit as the Lord uses this ministry to reach and raise up the next generation.

The Sobeys were approved as World Missionaries in 2006. They have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and now El Salvador since 2019.

Steve graduated from Central Bible College with a degree in Children’s Ministries and worked at the AG National Office in the Children’s Ministry Agency before entering into missions.

Kim grew up in missions and full-time ministry. She was part of the first King’s Castle team! She is the middle daughter of Don and Terri Triplett. Kim is a graduate of Master’s Commission in Phoenix, Arizona. She also earned degrees in Bible from Central Bible College and Communications from Evangel University.

Steve and Kim have four kids: Andre, Sofia, Caleb, and Emma.

We met on a mission trip to King’s Castle in Nicaragua in 2015. We were just kids then, and now we are so grateful to be serving King’s Castle El Salvador with our two sons, Judah and Samuel.

During that trip years ago, the Lord began stirring our hearts for the nations. El Salvador is a very special place, and the evidence of the presence of God is all around. Our hearts are burning for revival in this country, and our desire is for every person to come to know the love and saving power of Jesus.
