REQUIRED ITEMS FOR MAPS Ministry Teams: The Required Items are for the children you will be working with & not for KC ministry. (However, Team Leaders frequently ask us what we need, so we have created a Wish List.)
MINISTRY ITEMS (REQUIRED)
BRING 1000 TOYS OR $2,000 AND WE WILL BUY 1000 TOYS FO YOU: We ask each MAPS Evangelism Teams to bring 1000 Toys or donate $2,000 so we can buy 1,000 Toys for your team to give out to the children. If we buy them, you can’t buy them cheaper, and you don’t have to bring them down. It takes a large pick-up truck to carry 1000 Toys when we purchase them here.
MINISTRY SPECTACLE EVANGELISM: THESE ARE JUST IDEAS. PLEASE MAKE SURE EACH OF YOUR TEAM MEMBERS HAS ONE OF THESE ITEMS TO PLAY WITH THE KIDS AT THE OUTREACHES. Face paint, Neon light sticks, whistles, jump ropes (for individuals and group jumps), all kinds of balls, large ropes for tug-of-war, Frisbees, large blow-up games for balls, jumping, etc. Nerf basketball hoops, plastic baseball bats & plastic balls, plastic bowling balls—just about any outdoor game you could play with children at a school carnival. Unlimited need.
MISSIONARY SPECIAL REQUESTS: Occasionally, we will ask if you can bring something down for us with your team. We will purchase the item and have it shipped to you to bring down. We will never assume you can bring something down to El Salvador for us unless you tell us you are able to bring it.

1. SOUND SYSTEM
Our basic tool for doing our King’s Castle Outreaches is a sound system We have not found a more practical, effective and powerful tool than these sounds systems. Easy to transport and effective for crowds of up to 500 kids. We Need Portable Sound System: Fender Passport Venue PA System (600watts) with Blue Tooth. (2 sites same price $1,289.99)

3. IPAD & CASE: Apple iPad with an Otterbox Defender Series Case for iPad
4. CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE: If you would like to go the second mile, we need 15,000 TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS. If you would like to donate funds for toys or bring down toys or do a Toy Drive to be shipped down on our next container, please contact us and let us know.

Ideas for Girl’s Toys: Small Stuffed animals, Beanie baby toys, dolls, jump ropes, Bubbles, small purses, kaleidoscopes, candy, face paint, etc. Ideas for Boy’s Toys: Soccer balls, matchbox sized cars/trucks/planes/boats, small Lego sets, yo-yo’s, tops, tennis balls, basketballs, Nerf balls, candy etc.
