Attention! Calling all teams and generous souls! The King’s Castle A/G Sonsonate church & parsonage construction project is in need of your assistance. The foundation, walls, and roof are up, but we require additional funding and skilled teams to bring this project to completion. Sonsonate's hot and humid climate necessitates good ventilation and insulation to combat radiant heat from the sun.
To achieve this, we will need to plaster, paint, install floors, electrical and plumbing systems, drywall, bathrooms, doors, insulation, drop ceiling, windows, fans, lights, and a kitchen. Bringing together teams with diverse skills will ensure the greatest impact on this project. We estimate a need for $35,000 or more to successfully finish the construction. WE ARE THANKFUL!
We are excited to share that the Sonsonate Church Network project is now 80% complete! The facility is coming together beautifully, with tile flooring, a durable metal roof, lights, electrical and plumbing systems, drywall, doors, insulation, windows, and a fully equipped kitchen already in place. The interior has been plastered and painted, creating a warm, welcoming environment for all who gather here.
We’re also pleased to announce that our pastor has moved into the parsonage, allowing for more direct engagement with the community. The church is already in use, providing a safe and inviting space for members, especially children, to come together for worship and discipleship. The pastor is deeply grateful for these developments and excited about the ongoing ministry.
However, we still have some key elements to complete. To finish the project, we need to build a security wall, finish the bathrooms, add a laundry room, lay the sidewalk, pour the entrance slab, and install a drop ceiling in the church area. The remaining cost to complete these elements is approximately $40,000. We are incredibly thankful for all the support and generosity we’ve received thus far.
